At Megazone in the heart of central Oslo, we've built a mountain-lodge-style log cabin indoors. In our cosy lounge you'll find what may well be Oslo's finest bar – and no fewer than 4 street curling lanes. You can also hire Fjellstua exclusively as a venue.

Fjellstua is the perfect place to meet up and enjoy a few drinks before or after your activity at Megazone. We offer a range of great packages for private groups and companies. To dine in our lounge, you need to hire Fjellstua exclusively.

Every day, all year round – companies welcome too. Room for up to 70 people, with food served for 50. Perfect for Christmas parties, afterwork, meetings, conferences and team building.

Everything in one package: a 4K projector with built-in sound, wireless connection via Barco ClickShare, and breakfast, lunch or dinner from our partners. Street curling tournaments, a digital music quiz, karaoke, beer pong, golf pong – we tailor it to you!

Frequently asked questions about Fjellstua

What is street curling?
Street curling is “mini curling” on synthetic ice – so the room isn't cold. The rules are the same as in real curling, and it has a lot in common with shuffleboard. It's great fun! We'll give you all the information you need, and you can take a sneak peek at the briefing video made by Olympic curling champion Christoffer Svae.
What are Fjellstua's opening hours?
Sunday–Tuesday 10.00–20.00, Wednesday 10.00–22.00, Thursday 10.00–00.00 and Friday–Saturday 10.00–01.00. Exclusive hire of Fjellstua and all packages (corporate / stag and hen parties) can be booked until 01.00 every day – we stay open for advance bookings during these hours. Meeting room from 09.00.
What is the age limit?
Fjellstua normally has an age limit of 20. Companies can bring employees aged 18 to 20, but they will not be served spirits. During the day before 18.00, Sunday–Tuesday, parents can play with their children – we do not serve alcohol to parents playing with children, and there may be other guests in the room who are drinking. On Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays you can book a kids' birthday party with street curling.
Can we eat at Fjellstua?
Companies and others who hire Fjellstua exclusively can order food from us – pizza, tapas, stews and more. Unfortunately we don't offer food to other guests. For Christmas parties we also work with Stortorvet Gjæstgiveri, and can arrange a sit-down meal there before the party at Fjellstua.
Can we just drop in?
We strongly recommend that everyone books a time before coming. Drop-in can be booked up to 5 days in advance; all other packages can be booked further ahead. Fjellstua may be hired exclusively and closed to other guests – the booking calendar shows whether there is availability.
How many people can we bring?
We have 4 lanes with room for up to 24 players at a time. With exclusive hire you can have up to 70 people in the venue, and you can also run a tournament. For drop-in and birthday packages Sunday–Tuesday, the maximum is 24.
How do we book?
Choose the right category from the booking cards on this page. Drop-in can only be booked up to 5 days in advance – other packages can be booked further ahead.
Can we get an invoice for everything?
If you are a limited company (AS) with good liquidity, we can invoice you for everything – hire, food and drinks. You fill in a short form when you arrive.
Can we hold our Christmas party here?
A great many companies hold their Christmas party (julebord) with us between November and January; Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays get booked up quickly. We don't serve a traditional Christmas dinner, but we offer delicious Christmas tapas – and many groups start at our partner Stortorvet Gjæstgiveri. The venue is decorated for Christmas from 1 November until well into January, with a wonderfully cosy festive atmosphere, street curling and a popular digital music quiz if you like.
