Where can we find the prices?

We have 65 different prices, so listing them all here would get very messy. Click «Book an activity», choose what kind of group you are, then choose an activity. At the bottom of the page you will then see the different packages and prices for the activity you have chosen.

General

Can we just drop in?

You are very welcome to simply turn up during our opening hours. Sometimes we have free slots, sometimes we don't.

We therefore recommend booking drop-in as well. Not entirely logical given the name “drop-in”, but after many years we have found that most people appreciate being able to book single games before they arrive at the centre.

Occasionally we hire out the whole venue exclusively to companies or organisations. On those days drop-in is not possible, so please book before you come.

Why can't I book drop-in for next week?

Drop-in can only be booked up to 5 days in advance. The booking system opens slots hour by hour, 5 days ahead. If you want to book something late in the evening 5 days ahead, you will have to wait until that evening to book.

There are no exceptions to this rule.

Do we have to play with other people?

If others have booked the same time as you, we will put you together.

You can check this when you make your booking. If a time slot has fewer places available, it means you will be playing with others.

It is not possible to pay the drop-in price and demand to have the arena to yourselves. If you want the arena to yourselves, you need to choose one of our other packages: a birthday package, a company package or a stag or hen party package.

Even if nobody else is booked when you make your booking, others may book after you. Just so you know.

What are your age limits?

There is no age limit for laser tag. However, we recommend that everyone is 6 or older to get the most out of the game. The vests you wear are a little heavy.

Indoor paintball has an age limit of 13. You MUST have turned 13. This is required by our insurance and our permit from the police.

Fjellstua has an age limit of 20. Companies booking the venue exclusively can agree with us to bring guests under 20. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.

Can I play if I am pregnant?

We would like you to make that judgement yourself.

The laser (the beam itself) is not dangerous to anyone.

If you play with lots of other players, the pace in the arenas can get quite high. Running is not allowed, but we know some people get a bit carried away. The rooms are dark and it is easy to bump into each other. If you take it easy and find a position where nobody can run into you, there is very little that can happen.

What should we wear?

For laser tag or indoor paintball we recommend completely normal clothes. Those who give it their all may get quite warm. Some people choose to wear sportswear, but it is absolutely not necessary.

For Fjellstua, normal everyday clothes are recommended.

Outdoor escape game: dress for the weather. Remember sunscreen if you are playing in the middle of summer!

Are you open all year round?

We are open almost all year round.

Days we are closed
-17 May (Norwegian Constitution Day)
-23 December
-Christmas Eve
-Christmas Day and Boxing Day
-New Year's Eve
-1 and 2 January

We are also closed two days a year for our staff summer party and Christmas party. Booking is closed on those days.

Do you have a student discount?

All students with a valid student ID get 20% off. This only applies to drop-in prices.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

We are a licensed venue. Bringing your own alcohol is not allowed. If you have alcohol with you, it must be put in one of our lockers (free of charge).

Do we have to pay on the website? How does payment work?

You place your booking on our website. There is no payment at that point. You will receive a link by text message and email, where you can choose to pay with Klarna. If the booking has not been paid by the time you arrive, you can pay at our till. We accept cards and cash.

Companies can be invoiced by us. A form is filled in on arrival.

Do you accept companion cards (ledsagerbevis)?

Companions get 50% off drop-in prices. This must be paid at the till when you arrive.

Feel free to book online, but pay when you arrive to get the discount.

Do you have changing rooms / showers?

We have lockers you can use free of charge, with a digital lock and a key tag you borrow from us.

Unfortunately we do not have showers, but you can change in one of our toilets if you like.

Kids' birthday parties

How do we book a kids' birthday party at Megazone?

We would like everyone to use the booking system on our website.

Click here to go to kids' birthday party booking.

Choose the activity you want. Then enter the details of the party and choose any extras.

You will receive an email and a text message with your booking confirmation. Please read it carefully. You can also order pizza yourself afterwards from there.

A lot of important information is sent by email. Please read it carefully, and get in touch if anything is unclear.

How do we pay for a kids' birthday party?

You have 2 options

1: Pay with Klarna
Once you have placed your booking, you will receive an email and a text message from us with a link. Click the link. There you will find more information about the birthday party, the option to add extras (pizza etc.) and pay via Klarna. Please do not pay anything until all extras and food have been added.

2: Pay when you arrive
When you come to us for the party, you can pay at our till at Megazone. You do not have to pay in advance with Klarna – it is just an option for those who prefer it.

Can we eat before the activity?

Unfortunately you cannot eat before the activity. To make the logistics work, everyone has to do the activity before eating. Usually another party is using both our birthday rooms while you are playing.

How does a kids' birthday party work at Megazone?

A typical birthday party works like this:

1: You arrive at the agreed time
2: We take the group into our briefing room. Everyone can bring jackets, bags etc. into the room.
3: We run the activity.
4: After the activity you have one of our birthday rooms for 50 minutes.

If you have ordered pizza from us, it is put out just before the birthday group finishes the activity. Any drinks you have ordered are placed in the birthday room.

The parents take care of the meal. We have a water station where you will also find extra cutlery, plates, paper towels and so on.

Please note: You are not allowed to bring your own food or drink. You may bring your own cake(s), but not snacks. Party poppers and confetti are not allowed either. We have limited time to tidy and clean before the next birthday group uses the room.

Everything you need to know about ordering pizza for the party

When you book on our website, you are given the option to order pizza.

You can do this straight away, or wait until closer to the day. Why wait? Some people want to know exactly how many are coming. Maybe someone has allergies that need to be taken into account?

How many pizzas to order depends entirely on the age of the birthday group. Our pizza is delivered by Peppes Pizza. A regular pizza is 40 cm and a gluten-free one is 30 cm.

You can place the pizza order yourself on our website as the day gets closer. The email and text message you received when you booked contain information about this.

You can also call us and we will add it for you. Orders must be placed no later than 2 days before the party.

Peppes Pizza offers gluten-free pizza. Vegan cheese is also available on request.

What is the age limit for a birthday party at Megazone?

There is no fixed age limit for laser tag. However, we recommend that the children are at least 6. Some wait until the children turn 7.

Indoor paintball has an age limit of 13, with no exceptions. Everyone MUST have turned 13 before they can play. This is required by our insurance and our permit from the police. ID must be shown and parental consent must be brought. A note or a text message is fine.

Our laser arenas are filled with smoke, with lots of disco lights and fairly loud music. Some children may find this a little scary. Our staff make sure everyone has a good experience and will let the adults in charge know if anything comes up.

What do the parents do while we are there?

We run the activity from start to finish. You can enjoy a good coffee and relax completely in our «Parents' Chill-out Lounge».

Some parents also want to join the game. If there is room, you are of course welcome to join in!

When you have the birthday room, we put out the pizza and hand out soft drinks. You take care of the meal, cake and so on.

What should the children wear?

Completely normal everyday clothes. Everyone must wear shoes when playing.

It is easy to get a bit sweaty and tired, so there is no reason to dress up. We recommend slightly sporty clothes instead.

Do you have plates, cutlery, cups etc.?

We have a dedicated station with everything you need: plates, cutlery, cake servers, cups, napkins, water jugs…

Do we need to arrive before the agreed time?

We recommend that whoever booked the party arrives a little early to welcome the guests.

There is not much to do while waiting. If you arrive very early, you will have to “hang around” without doing much. There may also be a lot of people here at the same time.

We have built in a small time buffer, so arriving at the scheduled time is fine.

Is the smoke or the laser dangerous? Can people with epilepsy play?

We are approved by the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA). The laser is completely harmless. It is not dangerous to get the laser in your eyes.

The smoke is water-based – no nasty chemicals.

For people with epilepsy, you will need to judge for yourselves whether it is a good idea. We have a few strobe lights and disco lights that “shoot” beams of light in different colours. You are welcome to visit and have a look before booking or taking part in a party.

Do we pay per person or is there a package price for everything?

We only have package prices for birthday parties. This means the price does not change with the number of participants.

The price will be somewhat higher or lower depending on how many pizzas are ordered.

Each participant who attends gets one drink, and a birthday T-shirt is included, which is very popular with the birthday child. If there is more than one birthday child, you can add more T-shirts.

Pizza is not included in the package price.

Can we decorate the birthday room?

Our birthday rooms have been hand-painted by a talented artist. You are not allowed to bring your own decorations and hang them on the walls or ceiling. You normally get the birthday room straight after the activity, and other birthday parties are using it while you are playing, so there is little time for decorating anyway.

Unfortunately confetti and candles that need lighting are not allowed.

There are more than 24 of us – can we still have a birthday party at Megazone?

If there are more than 24 of you, you need to book a 3×20 min laser birthday party. We can have 24 players in the arena at the same time. If there are more of you, we split you into teams and play slightly shorter rounds. Everyone gets to play the same amount.

NB: Our birthday rooms are designed for a maximum of 24 people. A few more will probably be fine, but it will be tight. If it is a big party, you could also consider eating somewhere else.

Can we park at Megazone?
Information about allergies

Our pizza is delivered by Peppes Pizza.

You can read more about allergies HERE, or contact Peppes Pizza Tåsen directly for more information.

Team building and company parties

Which package suits us?

We are sure to have several packages that suit you! Click “Team building / Company party” on our home page, then choose the activity you would like to do.

You will then be able to enter the number of people, and the packages that suit your group will be shown, with the price and information about how it works.

Laser tag suits absolutely everyone. Indoor paintball is an activity that hurts a little. Operation Mindfall is an outdoor activity – perfect team building! Street curling is a fun «no-sweat» activity that suits everyone. Age limit 20 at Fjellstua.

The choice is yours. Feel free to contact us if you would like a tailor-made event. Larger companies can also hire the whole of Megazone and Fjellstua. Get in touch for a quote.

There are only a few of us (3–10 people). What should we choose?

Our packages also suit smaller groups. If you do not need exclusive play, we recommend booking drop-in.

Drop-in can be booked 5 days in advance. You may then be put together with other players, young or old.

Do you need to know the exact number of participants straight away?

Enter the number you expect. All our company packages give you the arena(s) exclusively. Please let us know the exact number a few days before, and we will prepare for the right number.

If it is just 2–3 people more or less, there is no need to let us know.

We are a large group of 100–300 people. Do you have room for us?

We have the capacity! Two large arenas and the whole of Fjellstua downstairs. We can also host up to 150 people on Operation Mindfall – outdoor escape game.

We welcome the whole group and split you into groups/teams that do different activities. It is entirely possible to hire the whole of Megazone exclusively.

We can arrange good food, drinks and more when you hire the whole venue. A perfect company activity in the heart of Oslo.

Send us an enquiry directly at post@megazone.no and our events manager will get back to you.

Food and drink

When hiring Fjellstua exclusively, we can offer companies a wide choice of food: pizza, tapas, stews and more…

We have our own bar with various beers, cider and cocktails on tap.

If you only want to do activities, Oslo has plenty of restaurants to choose from. We particularly recommend Oslo Street Food, right next door to us. You can also see our list of more recommended restaurants HERE.

Can we pay by invoice?

Limited companies (AS) can be invoiced by us. An invoice form is filled in on arrival: company name, org. no., contact person, EHF/email, and whether the invoice needs a particular reference.

You will be asked to fill in the invoice form when you arrive. It must also be signed before you leave.
Our provider Klarna also offers invoicing for companies. Choose this if you are only doing an activity.

Drinks and food can also be added to the invoice by agreement.

Please note: We check the company before you arrive. We will let you know before the event if you cannot be invoiced by us. Unfortunately sole proprietorships (ENK) cannot be invoiced.

Cancellation deadline?

There is a 7-day cancellation deadline for activities with us. You accept this when you book / in our terms. 100% of the amount will be invoiced if you cancel or do not turn up for your event.

Stag and hen parties

Which package suits us?

Megazone hosts hundreds of stag and hen parties every single year, some small and some large. We have packages to suit every group.

In peak season it can be hard to find available times, especially at weekends. Book early!

Many people want to play outdoor paintball. This can also be booked early.

We reserve every Saturday in May and June exclusively for stag and hen parties, so you won't have lots of children running around you.
On these Saturdays we can also serve alcohol throughout the building.

Go to the home page and click «Stag or hen party» for more information.

There are only a few of us (3–10 people). What should we choose?

Our exclusive packages suit slightly larger groups. If there are only a few of you, you will need to book drop-in. This can be done 5 days in advance.

Outdoor paintball with Highjump can be booked from 6 people – see outdoor paintball.

Outdoor paintball – how does it work?

Our old field at Hellerudsletta has closed. We now offer outdoor paintball in partnership with Highjump Event at Stensrudvannet (Grønmo), about 20 minutes from central Oslo.

Highjump has three fields covering 8,000 m² for 6–100 people: a large military field, a forest field with “capture the hill” and a close-combat field. All equipment is included in the packages, and you get a thorough safety briefing before you start. Players must be at least 13, and under-18s need written permission from a parent or guardian.

Booking and more information are on our outdoor paintball page. Questions about the set-up on the field can go straight to Highjump at info@highjump.no.

Can we pay by invoice?

Private individuals cannot pay by invoice. Unfortunately sole proprietorships (ENK) cannot be invoiced either. We prefer one person to pay for the party.

With Vipps you can easily split the costs afterwards.

We also offer advance payment with Klarna, which has various options.

Do you sell alcohol? Can we bring our own? Can you be under the influence of alcohol during the activities?

We sell alcohol inside Megazone and Fjellstua in central Oslo, so you are not allowed to drink your own. We are considered a bar and normal licensing rules apply. You must not be heavily intoxicated.

We do not sell alcohol at our outdoor paintball field, so you may bring your own there. Please remember that you will not be allowed to play if you are heavily intoxicated.

Will there be lots of children there at the same time as us?

There may well be both adults and children here at the same time. However, during the stag and hen party peak season (every Saturday in May and June), kids' birthday parties cannot be booked. The venue is then reserved for stag and hen parties.

Outdoor escape games

What is the difference between Operation Mindfall and Blackout?

Operation Mindfall was the first game we launched, in 2022. Blackout saw the light of day in 2025.

The two games are fairly «similar». You are given an iPad and equipment to take with you on the mission. Both games last 2 hours.

The biggest difference is the option to «hack» opposing teams in Blackout. They also have two completely different «stories». They are not connected, so you do not need to play Operation Mindfall before trying Blackout.

Our players tell us that Blackout is a little harder than Operation Mindfall.

How long does it take?

Both Operation Mindfall and Blackout last 2 hours. Unfortunately we cannot shorten the time or make a shorter version for you.

You should allow 2.5 hours in total. It takes a little time with us before you are sent out on the mission, and the equipment must be returned to us after the game.

Number of participants? How many per team?

We can host groups of up to 200 participants. More of you? Get in touch and we will find a solution.

There are 2–5 participants per team. We split you into a suitable number of teams.

Can we pay by invoice?

Private individuals cannot pay by invoice. Unfortunately sole proprietorships (ENK) cannot be invoiced either. We prefer one person to pay for the activity.

With Vipps you can easily split the costs afterwards.

We also offer advance payment with Klarna, which has various options.

Companies can of course be invoiced directly by us. Just ignore the email with a payment link. A short form is filled in when you arrive. You choose EHF or email, and we add whatever reference you need to the invoice.

Can we choose the start time?

Book the time you want on our website. If some times are not available, they are fully booked. Please arrive at the scheduled time – we will have all the equipment ready for you. Let us know early if you are running late.

Do we pay per person?

Both Operation Mindfall and Blackout have a per-person price. You pay for the number of people booked. If some people drop out, please let us know early.

Cancellation rules?

Please see our terms of purchase, which you accept when you make a booking.

Click HERE to read our terms of purchase.

Recommended age limit?

We have set a recommended age limit of 15. If you are a little younger and play with others who are a bit older, it should be absolutely fine.

The recommended age limit is there so that it is possible to understand and complete all the tasks.

What kind of tasks are there?

There is a wide range of tasks. We don't want to give too much away, but along the way you will be challenged on logical thinking, a bit of «outside the box» thinking, tasks based on your surroundings, equipment that has to be used correctly, things that may need mixing, and searching and working things out. It is a bit like a digital treasure hunt. With the help of AR technology you will see things that aren't actually there, and so on… .

It is challenging and great fun!

How do you know who wins?

When the team has completed all the tasks, or 2 hours have passed, a high-score list appears showing your position. The best position wins.

If you make the top 10, you can really give yourselves a pat on the back!

How do the points work?

The game is cleverly set up to look at several parameters when awarding a team points for a task. Time, number of mistakes and more give the system what it needs to award a certain number of points. There is a well-designed system behind it. It is very unlikely that two teams will get the same number of points – it happens extremely rarely.

Who is this for?

We may be a little biased, but I would say this is one of the very best team-building activities / company events in Oslo.

The price is also the same for private individuals and companies, including VAT, so it is quite affordable for companies – at least compared with what similar competitors charge.

Lots of groups of friends and stag and hen parties also play one of our escape games every week.

What if the weather is bad?

Dress for the weather. You can borrow umbrellas from us. It is a good idea to keep the equipment and iPad as dry as possible – a wet iPad can be a bit awkward to use.

Unfortunately we cannot offer a weather guarantee. Rain is of course a bit of a nuisance, but it still works really well for all the guests who play in the rain.
